It was all good vibes. the location was super convenient, close to all the must-visit spots like New Forest-Lyndhurst, Lymington, and Brockenhurst. Plus, there’s a main restaurant and stunning gardens nearby. 🌅

It was in a stunning and magnificent location not far from Balmer Lawn as a base for exploring the New Forest, the seaside B and the new forest with horse riding near bye. Also, Setley Ridge Vineyard was 3 km away.

The hotel is relaxing and spotlessly clean. the venue has huge rooms. - the staff is very friendly and genuinely helpful with 5-star service. - It includes a really nice restaurant for a good meal.

The rooms were modern and had windows that could be opened. the staff were perfectly pleasant. - the venue is located in a central position in the New Forest area, which is enjoyed by kids and adults alike. - Guests can easily access the coast, Beaulieu, and the restaurant.

This place has impressive, spacious rooms that are pet-friendly with stunning sunset views over the New Forest, it is in a fantastic location near restaurants, lawned gardens, and a beautiful lawn area.

They gave us a well-kept and tastefully decorated room with coffee facilities and a cute ‘ grassy' balcony plus tea. The location was magnificent, 30 km to Bournemouth airport, perfectly reachable.

This place is ideal for a short break, nestled in the heart of a beautiful natural setting. With its fabulous location on Balmer Lawn, I enjoyed walking and strolling through the stunning surroundings, surrounded by ponies and the relaxing sound of birds singing all day and night. Plus, it's just a short walk away from dog-friendly walks, making it perfect for couples and families who want to explore the New Forest with their furry friends.

This place has a great location and convenient onsite parking.

The room was good-sized and well-organised with views over the forest, all the facilities, big windows and the breakfast was plentiful! The location was stunning and lovely, really close to the hotel's restaurant, and the New Forest and the South Coast. Having different welcome drinks in the main bar was a very nice touch.

Facilities were good, even so Wi-Fi was very poor.

As a tourist, I loved the good location of the hotel, with plenty of seating in the grounds. The bed in my room was comfortable and there was always plenty of hot water with a powerful shower. The main dining room offered a buffet breakfast with a good variety of choices and the a la carte dinner menu was also impressive.

The staff at Balmer Lawn were extremely friendly and professional, making me feel like they were family and that nothing was too much trouble. However, it did get slightly tiresome to be repeatedly instructed by every member of staff to "enjoy the rest of your morning/afternoon/evening/day/weekend.

This place is a high-quality and charming old 4-star hotel that exceeded our expectations with its well-trained and amazingly attentive staff and overall great experience.
